The kitchen offered Dallas a cool linolium surface to lay on. Pictured here in the early 80's is Grandpa, Master Tom & Nat. Normally the table would be in the back of the kitchen so that when Dallas came running in for some milkbones he'd have open floor to slide into the refrigerator or cupboards.
This early 80's view of the front half of the livingroom was taken from the front door. The doorway in the far end of the picture leads to the diningroom then the kitchen. This is where Nat use to get creamed when Dallas was running in with a milkbone. There's a slate floor in front of the fireplace where Dallas would rest on the cool stone. Between the brown and blue chairs was the table he got stuck under during his dream. That's Nat in the picture and behind her is a headless Dallas.
A more complete livingroom shot in the early 80's taken from the diningroom entrance. Most notable, of course, is the big bay window- Dallas' ruling balcony where he overlooks the park and village. He must have been annoyed though because it's covered in faux cobwebs and pumpkins. Dallas is actually in the picture in front of the blue chair at the bottom of the stairs. At bottom is Nat's feet
